Fortunately, the virus has not mutated yet. One fear is that a viral mutation will develop after vaccine manufacturing is in progress rendering the vaccine less effective. Hopefully, vaccinations will begin in October, although there won't be enough for all of us then. Health experts will advise who should receive the vaccine when the initial supply is limited.
